I stayed 35 days .The WiFi works well. The room is basic, which a double bed but the carpet was dirty.Brendon did take me to the clinic when I asked him.I was I’ll. Unfortunately ,there were problems with the kitchen use-lack of appropriate utensils and completely abraded pans. And eccess attention about minor disturbances, such as noise or drop of water on the kitchen top. Some doors had difficulty opening, when I asked him for demonstrations of how it worked,,he got annoyed.Such as access to the whashing machine.I depended on him, furthermore the whashing machine was located on the outside ,on the terrace which can only be accessed from my host’s bedroom.
I often felt unwelcome in his home.I left a week early.

Homestay Host Family Brendon in ,

I've been renting for these last ten years and this is the first time I've received such a complaint. The tenant decided to leave a week earlier. According to her claim this was due to family reasons which I would not mention here. Till the very last moment of Daniela leaving the front door of my apartment she advised me that she was not sure if she was leaving or not. Once she left she requested half of her stay back by text msg. She expected me to have my apartment empty due to her negligence which was self unexplanatory. A door is a door! How difficult is it to open and close a door? As much as her bedroom door was open at all times mine was open to gain access to the patio area for the washing machine which has a sliding door. How difficult is it to open a sliding door & lock it behind you? I showed her multiple times how to open a sliding door. Once, I came home to find the Patio door open when she had left to apartment unattended with the patio door open which anyone can gain access to from outside. The front door required a gentle push to close which for a lady I admit might be difficult. Daniela asked me to put a clothesline in her bedroom which I did hence also she requested a wash basin which I refused to buy since the washing machine is available & you would expect a guest who stayed for 6 weeks to do a washing load on a weekly basis. A couple of days before leaving Daniela asked me for a vacuum cleaner to clean the carpets. I was surprised because why would you do this a couple of days before leaving a property? I advised her I would clean them. Daniela never mentioned anything about some particular kitchen utensils or if she did I would not purchase anything to her liking & even if so my kitchen is fully equipped with 5 pans, of which one is ceramic. I clearly do not understand what Daniela meant by water leaking from the kitchen tap as I do not have or leave water leaking in the kitchen as I do not find money in thin air.
