Located in a peaceful environment at heart of Kathmandu city, our Lainchour home-stay is a home away from home. Its near by Indian Embassy, British Embassy , Lazimpath and Thamel.
Situated near British and Indian embassy of Nepal the area is totally safe and peaceful. We have home-stay in our own home where our guests will get a homely staying environment. We provide a family kind of environment. Anyone who is interested to stay with us will get a nice bedroom with attached bathrooms and comfortable ambience. We are located at such a point of Kathmandu from where major tourists’ places of the city can be easily accessible. Thamel, one of the most famous places for tourism is just ten minutes away from us. We not only operate home stay but we also arrange trekking trips and organize trips around Nepal for those who are interested in adventures in Nepal. We provide staples food of Nepal as well as continental food according to the choice of the guests.
Our main aim is to provide homely and cozy environment to our guests in their stay with us. We assure providing happiness and satisfaction to people who choose to stay with us. We make sure that their stay will be a
pleasant one with us.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
