Kia Ora! Welcome to our home!

Our cosy home is located in a convenient location. Public transport access, spa, beauty salon, pizza and clinics are 5 mins walk away. Fish and chips takeaway, Indian restaurant, cafe, dairy, bakery and hair salon are 7 mins walk away. Lloyds Elsmore park with gym, and public swimming pool, spa and sauna are not far away too.
There are three spacious furnished double rooms downstairs with a separate entrance. Our place is ideal for "easy going" solo travelers, couples and holiday-makers. No smoking or vaping please.
The black and white room is spacious, with a small window, with queen bed and a build-in wardrobe. The garden room is a large double room with large window, double bed and build-in wardrobe. The corner room is double room with a small window , single bed and a garment rack. There is a basic kitchenette downstairs equipped with
• microwave
• electric kettle
• toaster
• cutlery and crockery
• fridge
• rice cooker
Parking is available onsite right in front of the house, beside the letterbox. There is also plenty off street parking too. Bathroom and toilet are shared with other guests only. Guests access from a separate entrance downstairs.
Shared space include a basic kitchenette, a dining area for eating, reading or chatting with Wifi and TV. Bathroom and toilet are only share with other guests.
Washing machine (reasonable use) is in the bathroom and washing line in the yard.

About the Area
Our home is located in East Auckland. We have beautiful beaches in this area. Bus stop to the city is 5 min walk. Pakuranga Plaza, Highland Park Countdown and Botany Town Center are in the area. Sylvia Park Shopping Center is not far too. We have Lloyds Elsmore swimming pool, Howick Historical Village, Polish museum in the area too. There are superette, Domino's, beauty salon, Thai Spa, takeaways within walking distance. We are close to motorway.

House Rules
*We really appreciate knowing in advance when to expect your arrival, so please let us know and keep us informed of changes.
*Check in 4.00pm-10.00pm and check out by 10.00am, but will try to juggle around with pre-arrangement.
*Please respect the space as you would respect your own home.
*No parties please.
*No drugs please.
*No pet please.
*No sleepover please.
*Keep my home secure and don't invite strangers into home.
*Shoes off inside the house please. Please don't keep outdoor shoes in the room. Indoor sandals can be worn inside but not on room's carpeted floor.
*No food or drink in bedroom please as this may attract unwanted bugs, plain water is okay.
*Wash, dry and put away dishes, and clean up after using the kitchenette.
*Don't dry the freshly washed clothes inside the room. Please hang them outside at the washing line.
*No noise after 10pm please.
*We are ‘resource conscious’ in this house, so please minimise whenever possible to conserve for a better earth :)

Esther is a wonderful host! My stay was for six weeks and it was very pleasant I would recommend her home very very highly. I'm sure I will call upon her again someday.

This Homestay was great, Esther was very kind, flexible and helpful, she even helped us with our car. The room is big and clean, nice decorated, good location / transport to CBD. I would definitely stay there again, thanks for hosting us!

Mon passage chez Esther m'a permis de me reposer à Auckland, juste après mon arrivée.
La chambre d'Angle est relativement minimaliste mais convient parfaitement pour un court séjour.
Les parties communes sont propres tout comme la chambre.Un peu à l'extérieur d'Auckland, comptez 1h minimum pour rejoindre les principaux sites d'intérêts en bus. Mais pas d'inquiétude, plusieurs arrêts sont présents à moins de 10min de marche de la maison. Ça se fait très bien.
Concernant Esther, c'est est une hôte extrêmement gentille, toujours disponible pour échanger au besoin.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
