Casa Camilo is my home, I am renting under contract my apartment for a year, while I live in Spain. Therefore it is very important that I recover it at least in the state that I leave it to you.
It's an apartment with 2 bedrooms but one is already occupied by a girl. She is an easy going person.
It is a duplex apartment (with stairs) on the 3rd and last floor (with elevator) in the center of Porto, at the foot of the Campo 24 Agosto subway station.
Very bright, spacious and modernly decorated.
So there are an available bedroom, an occupied bedroom and the shared bathroom in the upper floor then a living room, a kitchen and a toilet in the bottom floor. It also has a terrace on which you can have your breakfasts enjoying the view of the beautiful facades of Porto.
The bedroom has a double bed of 5’3 (or 160 cm, comfortable mattress), a wardrobe and a dresser for your belongings.
The building dates from the 1930s, has the architectural features of the buildings of the old bourgeoisie. It was rehabilitated in 2019 and offers excellent conditions including an elevator.

About the payment:
A deposit of 500€ is always required in case of damage and one month's rent which must be paid on the day of arrival by bank transfer.
The deposit will be returned on the day of the check out if no damage or inconvenience has been caused.
If the payment is not done on time, I will be forced to cancel the reservation.

1 tall wardrobe and 1 dresser. The bathroom is shared between you and the flatmate. King size bed (160) but I want to host only one single person at a time, out of respect for the other person living in the apartment. So preference to single people.

About the Area

Porto is a fairly small city. You will not have too much difficulty moving around, wherever you are.
You will be much more likely to find parking in our neighborhood, unlike the narrow, more centered streets of the city.
The Bonfim district is quiet and the Avenida Camilo very charismatic. You will find everything you need here: local grocery stores, bakeries, supermarkets, post office (called CTT in portuguese), restaurants, ... etc.
The Campo 24 Agosto subway station is 30 sec from the apartment and in 7 min on foot you will be at Rua Santa Catarina (well-known shopping street). Bus stops can also be found on the next street. The Porto-Campanhã train station is nearby (around 15 min on foot), convenient for spending weekends exploring other places in our country.

Respect and kindness are the watchwords of my house.
Here are some rules about our accommodation:
_ It’s totally forbidden to smoke in the apartment or to throw cigarette butts there (it’s an open space kitchen/living room and it leaves a smell in the common area). Throw the cigarette butt in a small plastic bottle with a bottom of water and leave it outside, on the terrace.
_ Thank you for ensuring the safety and serenity of our home and for locking the doors and closing the windows when you leave the house.
_ You can use the kitchen, but don't forget to clean up every time you use it. Just like the rest of the apartment, which must be kept in a clean state. Clean the house at least once a week. To feel good and live well, the house must be kept clean. Cleaning the apartment is your responsibility and must be done seriously.
_ Pets are not allowed inside.
_ Please do not have parties or invite strangers to our home. If you want to invite a friend, ask me first.
_ Please respect our home, but make yourself comfortable. Consider it your own home during your stay.

    I stayed at Kelly's apartment for almost 3 months while doing my apprenticeship in Porto. Couldn't get any better! Bonfim is a cool neighbourhood & the apartment itself is just AMAZING! The place had been renovated, it's spacious, bright, has a beautiful living room & a cosy terrace. Kelly did put the effort into making this place very pleasant to live. She also made her best to help with anything I might have needed throughout my stay which I'm very grateful for;) I had a great experience! Thank you Kelly!

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
