The Gekko Lodge is a three bedroom house situated in the quiet community of Patience (Pronounced Pass-Yance) in the district of Micoud on the East Coast of the Island. The Lodge is fully furnished. All the bedrooms have queen/double size beds.
There is a fully equipped kitchen and separate dining room.
Local community is very friendly and helpful.
Because it is located in the heart of rural St. Lucia, the Gekko Lodge gives you the chance to experience true St. Lucian culture. You are able to chill out and mingle at the local rum shop over a glass of our legendary St. Lucian rum.
You can have a swim in the nearby river, and experience a local river picnic with roasted breadfruit, plantains and salt fish.
In the evenings you may also enjoy a game of dominoes and sample authentic St. Lucian cuisine at a local restaurant all just a stone throw from the lodge.

Gekko Lodge is located in the quiet community of Patience in the district of Micoud on the East Coast of the Island.
It is 20 minutes drive from the Hewanorra airport and 45 minutes away from George Charles airport.
House is 20 minutes away from Vieux Fort and about 45 minutes away from Castries.
The bus stop is only 5 minutes walk from the house.

Please keep home secure and make sure all doors are locked when you leave.
Please don't forget to put the water heater off, after using the bathroom.
Please put the fans off when you leave the room.
Feel free to use the kitchen but please clean up after.
Keep noise to a minimum after midnight please.
Please do not invite strangers into the house.
Please enjoy your stay and treat house as you would your own home :)

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
