Our home is friendly and comfortable with a very relaxed atmosphere the house consists of 3 bedrooms one bathroom with bath and power shower two bright hallways lounge with dining area the kitchen is modern with gas hob, electric fan oven microwave and dishwasher (a Must ) its a modern home with TV, Internet access and free view channels also net flix on request. The garden is quite private in need of some TLC I am not a gardener but feel free to get in if you have green fingers if you please we have a large BBQ available too.
Food is important to us we all enjoy creating international dishes in the Kitchen. Meals available on request of you can use the kitchen at agreed times.
Easy access to bus services 100m form the front door, trains within walking distance from EK village. Only 25 mins from Glasgow airport 40 mins from Edinburgh airport. Road links are excellent to visit all over our beautiful countryside or cities within Scotland.

Great central location for sightseeing the famous sites and the unknown ones. Advice freely given on what to see and do.
Local leisure facilities are plentiful ( swimming/gym/library/yoga studio/walking routes and many more)
I myself lived and taught English in Italy for 13 years (private lessons can be arranged Tefla qualified teacher with more than 10 years experience )
Although not obligatory as I already work 4 full days
I am Fluent Italian speaker and some French I also understand a little Spanish.
I appreciate the need for a comfortable safe environment to improve language skills and communicate with the local people.
I have travelled far and wide myself and love to hear about different cultures and places to visit for myself.

About the Area
East Kilbride is a modern new town with a historic village centre. Nearby are many hidden beauty spots off the beaten track. Close enough to commute to Glasgow daily a little further from Edinburgh. Ideal location for visiting Scotland's lochs and Glens plenty of walking clubs to join in for transportation and company of experienced hill walkers keen to assist and narrate the various routes. Not too far to visit Ayrshire Arran Millport Mull . Many historical sites to see within the cities Art Galleries museums churches second hand markets for antiques etc .

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
