Sea Point Lodge is a family home with a hosting couple that enjoys making their guests at home as well as advising and helping them with travel plans.

The location is in the Centre of Sea Point, walking distance from the beach, restaurants, main road shopping and public transport. Uber taxis are available within 5 minutes any time of the day.

Typical guests are young adventurers, students and digital nomads from all over the world and their reviews say it felt like home from home.

Each room has its own bathroom and there is 24/7 Wi-Fi.

House Rules

Booking Procedures and Guidelines.

1. The Host will confirm accepted booking enquiries with Homestay.
2. On booking confirmation by the Host the Guest needs to provide the Host
with the following details:
3. Full names and address, country of origin, email address and WhatsApp
number and to be able to assist, maybe reason for visit to Cape Town.
4. The Host will then inform the guest of banking details and amount of
deposit which will be 50% of total stay costs.
5. The Guest then needs to pay such a deposit within 24 hours of this notice
to secure the booking.
6. The balance is payable on arrival either in cash or by EFT
7. On receipt of deposit the Host will send detailed check in instructions to
the Guest.
8. Check in time 3pm.
9. Check out time 10am.
10. No children under 16
11. No Pets
12. Right of admission reserved. If the Host is uncomfortable with a Guest
or the Guest does not comply with the above, the Host reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
12. Requests for Refunds needs to be approved by Host.

These guidelines are aimed to standardise procedures that will be easy to follow and to protect and safeguard our guests that do comply with the guidelines.

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
