A sunny, elegant and inviting house that offers magnificent views over the Knysna lagoon towards the Knysna Heads and the ocean. The house is in a quiet, upmarket suburb close to town centre. It is occupied by a modern family consisting of myself (young-at-heart retired professional male), my adorable cat and extremely good-natured Labrador dog. The house offers two bedroom to guests; one bedroom is en-suite whereas the other bedroom has an adjacent bathroom. The house is fully-furnished and fully-equipped with everything that a dream homestay is made of. Satellite television and wi-fi are free. The entire house and all its facilities are available to our guests to enjoy. Tranquility and serenity are what you will find in this much-loved home.

About the Area
Our house is perched against a hill overlooking the Knysna lagoon, and has beautiful views of the famous Knysna Heads and Indian Ocean in the distance. The house is located in a very quiet suburb and is about 1 km from Knysna's main shopping centres. The tourist information centre is within walking distance from the house. All Knysna's tourist attractions, as well as three golf courses, can be easily reached from the house. Restaurants are in close proximity. Knysna's Bollard Bay Beach is a 10-minute drive away. The very popular beaches of Brenton, Plettenberg Bay and Buffels Bay are between 15 and 25 minutes' drive from our front door. Also close to the house are walking trails, mountain bike routes, forest walks etc.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
