We live in a very nice flat facing one of the most popular squares in Madrid center, called Tirso de Molina. Metro is right across our building and you can reach all the places of interest (plaza mayor, puerta del sol, ópera, santa ana) in a distance of five minutes walking. My husband, my fourteen years old son and myself live here since 2008 and we enjoy it a lot. We have a beautiful room with balcony for you facing the square which is full of flowers, very lightly and quite big. The bathroom is also very modern and spacious (you share it with my son Mario). Everything is so convenient and easy. We'll be glad to receive you. We've been hosting students for long terms since 2015 (fall and spring semester), not through Homestay but mostly through american universities programs. If you want we can include breakfast and dinner (together with us), which is much more than a simple staying. And of course, cleaning and regular laundry. We are offering students the most similar to a spanish living family... for that we can fix weekly or monthly rates with breakfast and dinner included. We like very much sharing our lives with people from other cultures. Right now We have a student from Michigan leaving next december 22… Do you want to join us from january?

About the Area
Our flat is located in this beautiful square right in the center of the town, with bus and metro all round. Other beautiful and quite squares are right in the neighborhood, one next To each other. Rail station is quite near, very easy To reach by three metro stops. AirPort is also well conected To this adress. The area is great, full of pedestrian streets, close To museums, restaurants, shopping, and all places of interest.

Isabel and her family are so nice, caring, and always willing to have a friendly conversation. The apartment is in an excellent location with everything no more than ten minutes away by foot or metro. The room was great and just the right size for one person. I was always very well taken care of with food, laundry, etc.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
