About the Area
My house is located in a quiet place well connected next to the metro station, train station and buses that take you to the city centre in 15min. There is a park called Madrid Río where you can practise cycling, zip line riding, skating and canoeing as well as walking enjoying the views. There are a lot of shops and a new shopping centre.
I will help you decide what to visit according to your interests, and at the same time, if you want, you can practise your Spanish.

Vanessa's is great for shorter stays, however long stays over a month I would not recommend. The area isn't so great for students, as there isn't much to do compared to the centre. Vanessa and her bf Max are great though, try to help you out so you can enjoy your time in Madrid as much as possible.
Strongly recommend. Quiet, clean , a lot of transport and restaurants nearby
Vanesa is such a great host! She helped me find places around the neighborhood and showed me transportation into city center. She made me feel right at home and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying with Vanesa if you're in Madrid!
Vanessa was the perfect host. she was very responsive, welcoming and fantastic. Highly recommended and the location is very easy to access the metro for easy travel to the city center etc.
This guest awarded the host 5 hearts but didn’t leave any comments.
Vanesa is a fantastic host. She gave me travel advice and answered questions I had about Spanish culture. She is super friendly and very accommodating, she even hung a billboard on the wall in my room so I could decorate it with pictures!
I had a lovely stay with Vanesa! Her apartment was comfy, clean and very close to the metro, a shopping centre and the Matadero. Vanesa gave some great tips about how to enjoy my stay in Madrid based on my interests and I had a lot of fun chatting with her, her sister and her friend. Unfortunately I only stayed there a couple of nights but I would come back if I return to Madrid!
Vanessa was a lovely host and I really enjoyed my time in Madrid while staying with her. I immediately felt at home and found the accommodation very comfortable. Her apartment is in a quiet and safe area with a metro and bus stop just a short walk away. Vanessa introduced me to her neighbourhood and gave me all the relevant information needed to get around the city. Being a teacher, Vanessa speaks great English however, she was always more than happy to speak to me in Spanish so that I could practise. It was also great meeting Vanessa's family and going out together for Tapas.
En pocas palabras, familiar, acogedor, limpio y bien comunicado.
Vanesa was such a wonderful host! She's incredibly kind and helpful, and she goes out of her way to help her guests feel at home. I can't recommend her highly enough! If you're going to do a homestay in Madrid, look no further!
