My house is located in a quiet place well connected next to the metro station, train station and buses that take you to the city centre in 15min. There is a park called Madrid Río where you can practise cycling, zip line riding, skating and canoeing as well as walking enjoying the views. There are a lot of shops and a new shopping centre.

Vanesa is a fantastic host. She gave me travel advice and answered questions I had about Spanish culture. She is super friendly and very accommodating, she even hung a billboard on the wall in my room so I could decorate it with pictures!
I had a lovely stay with Vanesa! Her apartment was comfy, clean and very close to the metro, a shopping centre and the Matadero. Vanesa gave some great tips about how to enjoy my stay in Madrid based on my interests and I had a lot of fun chatting with her, her sister and her friend. Unfortunately I only stayed there a couple of nights but I would come back if I return to Madrid!
Vanessa was a lovely host and I really enjoyed my time in Madrid while staying with her. I immediately felt at home and found the accommodation very comfortable. Her apartment is in a quiet and safe area with a metro and bus stop just a short walk away. Vanessa introduced me to her neighbourhood and gave me all the relevant information needed to get around the city. Being a teacher, Vanessa speaks great English however, she was always more than happy to speak to me in Spanish so that I could practise. It was also great meeting Vanessa's family and going out together for Tapas.
En pocas palabras, familiar, acogedor, limpio y bien comunicado.
Vanesa was such a wonderful host! She's incredibly kind and helpful, and she goes out of her way to help her guests feel at home. I can't recommend her highly enough! If you're going to do a homestay in Madrid, look no further!
Great. House was really clean and Vanessa very friendly. Near the tube station only a few stops to the city centre.
We had a great time staying with Vanesa in Madrid. Would definitely recommend :)
I had an absolutely lovely time at Vanesa's homestay. She is a gracious, extremely helpful hostess, not to mention she is so much fun to hang out with. I would definitely recommend a homestay to anyone who is planning to go to Madrid, especially if you stay at Vanesa's. She makes you feel right at home and her home is your home. You never feel like you are in the way or in her space. Her ideas for what you may like to do while in Madrid are great and she also helps you find your way there! I spent four days at her home, and I honestly did not want to go home to Vancouver. Where her home is situated is close to the buses (up the street) and the metro - very easy to get into Madrid Central. There are also shops close by her home for your needs.
Warm, family feel. Thanks girls for your hospitality
