Big room in a flat located next to Mayor Square (Plaza Mayor) in the historical Madrid city centre where all cultural activities live and one minute away from “Puerta del Sol”. The flat is completely renovated and soundproofed with a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, oven, microwave, washing machine); bed sheets and bath towels and a super fast internet connection, ideal for zooms and digital nomads. The room includes a romantic vintage balcony, a king size bed and very ample closet space. The location can’t be better, near all services, from banks, to shops, apple store, groceries, Museums, restaurants. From here everything is at walking distance. Ideal for exploring on foot the most emblematic places of the city, the Puerta del Sol and its lively shops, the Royal Palace and the Almudena Cathedral, the Latin district area known for Spanish cuisine and lively cocktail hour, the District of Letters with its trendy shops and antiques, the Gran Via and Chueca. In Sol one can take city public transport to reach all parts of Madrid, Airport and train stations.
For the sporty persons, near home they can find Retiro park at just 15 minutes stroll. This park is a great place to go running, picnicking or chill. In the other direction close to the rastro market (7 minute walking distance) there is an amazing sport center with Swimmingpool and really great pilates classes.
This flat is a great option for digital nomads who look for 2/3 months stay. A bit about me. I'm an artist working on dancing apps. I've been living abroad a lot and I know what it feels to be in a foreign country. I love sharing different cultures and help guests feeling at home.

Security First: Please help us keep our home safe by locking the doors and windows whenever you step out.
Kitchen Courtesy: Feel free to whip up a meal in the kitchen! We just ask that you to buy your own oil, groceries and tidy up after yourself.
Pet Policy: We love animals, but for allergy reasons, we keep our home pet-free.
Visitors: Please keep our space private and secure by not bringing in strangers. If you want to invite a friend over, just check in with us first.
Make Yourself at Home: Please feel comfortable and respect our space as if it were your own.
Quiet Hours: Let’s ensure everyone has a good night’s sleep by keeping it down after 10 pm.
No Parties or Illegal Substances: For the safety and comfort of everyone, we do not allow parties, drugs, or unapproved guests.
Shoes: For hygiene please leave shoes at the entrance.
Garbage Disposal: Please dispose of your garbage daily. The garbage bins are located downstairs. The garbage collection service will retrieve the bins after 7 PM.
Check-In/Check-Out Procedures: Welcome! Check-in is available starting at 3 PM, and we kindly ask that you check out by 11 AM to allow for cleaning and preparation for our next guests.
We can't provide luggage storage service before and after check in and check out. In this area there are many cheap drop luggage shops that store your luggage for 5 euros, you can use.
Appliance Use: Please be mindful of electricity usage. Remember to turn off all lights and appliances when not in use, and make sure the refrigerator door is fully closed.
Shower Guidelines:
• Noise Consideration: To comply with building noise regulations, please avoid taking showers after 11 PM.
• Hot Water Usage: Our hot water is heated electrically. Enjoy your shower, but please be mindful that it may take up to two hours for the water to reheat for the next user.
Key Deposit: A key comes with a 50-euro cash deposit, which will be happily refunded when you return them.
Sanitization: Please sanitize your luggage before entering to keep the space clean for everyone.
Smoking: Smoking is permitted on the balcony but please keep the room smoke-free.
Payment: We kindly ask for payment in advance via PayPal once your booking is confirmed. If room hasn't be paid a day before arrival, Homestay will cancel the reservation.
Cancellation Policy
We understand plans can change! Please give us at least 7 days’ notice if you need to cancel for a full refund. Cancellations made later than this will unfortunately not be refunded.

Smoking is allowed outdoors only.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
