We are a retired couple who are looking forward to hosting guests who are looking for an affordable place to rent while they are vacationing or for a short term stay. The location is under 10 minutes to downtown Kandy and the Temple of Tooth. The room is on the second level with an attached bathroom and have access to a huge outdoor balcony. Wi-fi is also Included. The room has a king size bed, a spacious cupboard and an attached bathroom. If the guests require meals, we will be more than happy to be accommodate them for a small service charge. The neighborhood is extremely safe and the night time is peaceful and quiet for good night rest. I am sure you will have a wonderful time during your stay and we look forward to hosting you and treating you as our family.

About the Area
Our house is Located with in 10 minutes driving to the Temple of Tooth and to downtown Kandy. It is also a short walk to down town Kandy as well. There are many restaurants, hotels, and tourist attractions with in a short distance of a drive. There is also the KCC( Kandy City Center) where all your shopping needs can be met. The neighborhood is extremely safe and quiet during the day and night with very light traffic.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Guests are encouraged to be on there best behavior. Guests are more than welcome to use the living room on the second room to socialize. Any damages will be the responsibility of the guests. We encourage the guests be home by 11.30 at night, however if the guests will be arriving later, please give the hostage prior notice by calling or in person. If you are having a guest over , we strongly encourage that host is aware so we can go over the do's do not's. Smoking is not allowed in the room, however the balcony is available for smoking. We want our guests to feel comfortable and have a wonderful stay during their time with us and most importantly, treat the place with respect and we will be more than happy to do the same for you.

If I could give 100 hearts, I would! This stay was simply amazing. Laksiri and her son are both warm and welcoming people, they made me feel at home, took care of me to their best efforts plus the house is just wonderful! The room I got was luxurious, super clean and extremly comfortable. I really enjoyed the stay and if I ever come back to Sri Lanka, I’ll make sure to stay at Laksiri’s place again. I enjoyed the talks we had, I didn’t feel as a stranger in their house but rather as a friend on a visit. Thank you!

The hosts are so lovely. You feel the hospitality there at the first moment. They care very much about your safety and well being. If we needed any tips or recommendations for places to go to they helped us and even called a driver to bring us there. Their English is very good so you can have a good talk with them.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
