We could pamper you with local delicacies for breakfast if you would like as my wife is a very talented cook.
The 6 rooms could be shared by 10 guests. We want our guests to be very comfortable and our home is open for the guests. Ours is a split level house built according to natural terrain so rooms are on different floors and if one needs to have adjoining rooms you should contact us before confirming the booking.

A really lovely, comfortable homestay only a 15 minute walk on a straight road into Kandy.. The road leads directly to The Temple of The Tooth.
The homestay was extremely clean, the bed was very comfy and it was an added bonus to be able make tea\coffee any time. The room was very spacious, our room had a balcony. The breakfast was good.
The owners were so nice and helpful, giving us information about visiting the sights of Kandy.
This guest awarded the host 5 hearts but didn’t leave any comments.
We found Nayanananda a very kind, helpful and interesting gentleman and the Homestay was good value
This was a charming and enjoyable 3-night stay. The care and interest shown to us was both natural and genuine. The house is calm and well-ordered and the quality of information about local sights and events is very good. A warm thank you!
Nayanananda and Menaka are the greatest hosts we have met in Sri Lanka. Menaka is a great cook, and she took care of me and my boyfriend very well during our stay. Nayanananda is a great culture advocate. He is a sincere Buddhist and is very proud of Sri Lanka. He was very generous and open sharing with us the beauty of Sri Lanka. And his stories formed my major memory of this country.
Great accommodation in good location. The owner and his wife are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent too :)
The family was very welcoming, Nayananda had great tips on what to do in Kandy and how to get around.
The room was exactly as described and very clean, spacious and bathroom was great. There was no AC just a fan if that bothers you but with the climate in Kandy we never felt too hot in the house.
We had breakfast served at a time suitable to us which made our days smoother, and breakfast was always filling!
Nayananda and his wife were friendly and did all they could to help our stay, they helped us with booking taxis and advised on where to book certain tours which was incredibly helpful.
Their place was close to the Rainforest sanctuary (within walking distance) and about 10-15mins walk from shops and restaurants in Kandy. It’s about 20-25mins to Kandy where the main temples are.
It felt more like a B&B than a homestay because the room we had was in a separate house and they were living in another house next door.
The stay is next to a school that starts quite early in the morning which did not bother us, but if you like to sleep in there is quite abit of noise.
Thank you for a lovely stay, it was comfortable and a great location.
Very comfortable, conveniently situated accommodation. Lovely hosts.
This home stay deserves top marks. Nayanananda and his delightful wife and equally delightful daughter looked after us extremely well, both the accommodation and the breakfasts. In particular also was Nayanananda's very helpful guidance regarding the must see/ do venues in and around Kandy.
Value for money the very top.
Nayanananda the only one feature you lack is a small outside sitting space for weary legs after a day of walking...
Menaka and Nayanananda made our visit to Kandy a very pleasant one. They were the perfect hosts taking care of all our needs in the nicest possible way.
We stayed 3 nights (2 full days) at their place. The Sri Lankan breakfast they served was different every morning. And very tasty.
The hosts have mastered the art of being unobtrusive without compromising on being caring, kind and friendly. They seemed to have an uncanny knack of knowing how much interaction each of the guests wanted and acting accordingly. I personally enjoyed our long conversations on various topics of mutual interest.
Our Kandy trip was definitely made more enjoyable because of them.
