An oasis of tranquillity on the Tanzania’s gateway to major tour tourist destinations. Home Villa is in the centre of this important diplomatic and travel hub Situated at the foothills of Mount Meru in the city of Arusha. It’s ideal location makes it the perfect base for discovering the untamed natural beauty of Tanzania on safari.
An oasis within Arusha set out on 18 acres of beautiful landscaped coffee and tea plantations. Spectacular views of Mount Meru. Your stay with us can begin with low cost transportation from Arusha airport / Kilimanjaro airport. Your new home away from home is a short fifteen minute bus from Arusha city center. But our oasis feels hours away from the noise, hustle and bustle and crowds in the city.
We offer a room with double bed which is perfect for a couple, Twin room and room with Mixed beds for family or group. All rooms have private bathrooms attached to the rooms. Our bathrooms have western toilets and hot water for showering.
Home Villa are able to help with the arrangements of airport pickups. Guests can plan safari packages, mountain-trekking and day trips at the property for an extra fee. Breakfast buffet is included in the accommodation price, whereas warmly served lunch and dinner is available everyday for a small fee. The nearest airport is Arusha Airport, 6 km from the property while Kilimanjaro International Airport, 50 km from the property.
Frequent power outages in Tanzania.
Recently Tanzania has experienced frequent power outages. Our country is in the midst of a draught which has affected our hydropower facilities leaving large areas of the country without power for long periods of time. To ensure that you have consistent power, we have installed solar panels! This means that your stay with us at Home Villa will be comfortable with guaranteed light, hot water and internet. We would love to have you visit and try out our new solar panel powered accommodations!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
