About the Area
Our house is located on the hills of Salasala-Kilimahewa, 22 Mboma Road. We overlook the Indian Ocean with a beautiful view of Kunduchi and Mbezi Beach downtown. Famous international schools in Tanzania, local stores, restaurants, bars, Petrol stations, hospitals, and supermarkets surround the Salasala neighborhood. A 10-minute drive to open beaches, specialist shops, and kids' play is also within reach.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

1. How do I connect to the Wifi?
You will be emailed/Whatsapp-ed access to Wifi.
2. How do I connect to Netflix, Prime Video, and other streaming services?
Turn on your smart TV in your room and press the Netflix button on your TV remote to connect to
Netflix or any other services displayed on the remote.
Enjoy our living room with Dstv.
3. Where can I cook for myself?
All guests share the kitchen and dining place. All kitchen facilities are available just like home. Feel free to use it to prepare your delicious meal.
4. What is for Breakfast?
A coffee bar will be stocked so you can enjoy your tea or coffee.
Fruits, eggs, cereal (option), and bread will be available in the house.
5. How is my room?
Every room is a fully furnished Master with AC and a Smart TV, with a shared big kitchen, dining, and living room.
6. How many guests can stay in a room?
Each room can accommodate a maximum of two guests.
Big families can be excited about the house where the sharing feels more like home.
7. Where can I pack my car?
You are welcome to pack in front of the house at the carport.
8. Can I be picked up from the Airport?
Veniz Homestay provides transport services and airport pickups at reasonable prices;
Pickup from the Dar es Salaam airport is only USD 30 or TZS 75,000.
Guests who stay for a week and above get free pick up and drop off.
9. How do I use a heater and AC?
You will find them on the wall in your room. Please remember to switch it off when you leave the room.
10. Do I have to clean the room?
Cleaning services are provided for free.
11. What about laundry?
We do laundry for your towels and sheets. Please keep used towels and sheets in the dedicated basket outside your room.
A washing machine is available in the house; just come with your washing detergents. Note: A little charge may apply.
12. What about smoking?
Smoking is not allowed inside the house. Guests can smoke in a designated area outside.
13. How do I get to open beaches nearby?
It is our pleasure to ensure you enjoy your stay. This can be scheduled, and our driver will take you there.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
