About the Homestay
At Siam Lanna Homestay, you get to join in and live the real lifestyles of the Northern Thai farming community. It’s a wonderful way –and the only way – to genuinely feel the traditions of a Thai farming village first hand.
Our homestay guests are treated like family and we arrange everything to make sure your stay is comfortable and very enjoyable. There are 2 options for you to choose from:
1. If you choose to stay at Siam Lanna Homestay without tour & activities, you will be responsible for yourself in regards to transportation. There are activities that you can do such as ride a bicycle, help my mom cooking, farming, etc. My parents speak only Thai but we have a relative who can speak English to welcome you upon arrival. We do not have English speaking staff. I'm the son of the Siam Lanna Homestay's owner (I'm working in Chiang Mai city). I can meet you at Chiang Mai city and guide you how to get there. A light breakfast is included in the room price and my mother would be happy to prepare a delicious dinner and/or lunch for an extra charge of Baht 70-150 /person/meal.
2. If you choose to stay with tour & activities, I will take care of you with English speaking, we offer you an accommodation with a local day tour and night show. (There is an additional charge including round-trip transportation and all meals, 900-2000 Baht/person/day depend on amount of clients & date). There are many activities during our farm stay, such as cooking, milling rice, feeding pigs, ducks and buffalo. As part of the tour package, you will get to travel outside the farm to surrounding areas. You will see bamboo basket weaving, cloth weaving, knife making, and/or local noodle production. We also provide a local dance show, local live music, Northern Thai food, and/or blessing ceremony to welcome all customers (The schedule is subject to change according to weather and community activities).
We hope you come join us for a once-in-a-lifetime genuine Thai farming community experience.
We look forward to welcoming you at Siam Lanna Homestay !

The place is beautiful and quiet. The house is clean. The family is very very nice and welcoming. With them, we spent the best days of our trip in Thailand and we had the chance to experience the real and authentic Thai lifestyle. I recommend this homestay !
