Ours is a large room with a huge superking bed, and also a separate single room, so you get the whole of the top floor to yourself.
It’s a newly decorated, calm space, with a fridge, coffee machine, and kettle, and complementary tea and proper coffee.
There is a large luxury bathroom with extra deep bath and no taps end!
The rooms are not overlooked and feature unspoilt views of the woodland behind.
We also understand neurodivergence so if you feel that’s you, you’re particularly welcome. There’s plenty to read, and despite being only 5 miles from the airport, you won’t be disturbed.
Our space sleeps three, ideal for friends and couples alike, and includes free parking. It’s ideal if you have an early flight, or have just missed one! A unique place to stay, come and experience for yourself!

About the Area
We are at the end of a cul de sac, on a rather posh housing estate. There is no crime. Nothing ever happens. Seriously nothing. It’s amazingly quiet.
We have lots of country walks nearby and our own Country Park (Southern Country park) with its own lake, dog agility area, zip line for pay area and mown maze. At the other end of the estate is the Northern park with a basketball hoop and community orchard. In between are smaller formal gardens for maybe some boule or just a quiet sit.
It’s about 9 minutes walk from the pub and 11 from a good chippie and small supermarket open till 10.
There is a regular bus service to Stansted airport and also to the train station which has the fast train to get you to central London in around 30 mins.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
