About the Homestay
We are married ladies who work in the music business and keep a lovely comfy warm house. We have 3 rooms to offer one with a single bed and two with a double.
We will provide breakfast, Internet, a lovely living room, a bath, a shower, a sunny garden(Sorry the Sun is not guaranteed), a parking space, and 2 friendly hosts.
The house is 2 miles from Brighton town centre and Brighton university and only a mile from the pier. The bus stop is a one min walk away and takes you straight to town. Your more than welcome to cook exotic and crazy food combinations (that's what we do and love) and use any of the house facilities including the Internet. Your breakfast and laundry are included in your fee. You are welcome to make yourself at home put a film on chill out and even have a friend round.
We are friendly, cultured and open-minded people who love meeting new people, travelling and swooping stories and eating food from all over the world. We like to call this Family International. We have 2 little tortoises called Patrick and pepper and a very very cute little Sausage Dog called Eddie who live with us. We look forward to meeting you.

We stayed with Shiv, Tracey and the beautiful little Eddie for just shy of seven months, and we enjoyed every second. Shiv and Tracey are lovely, welcoming ladies who have now become our good friends. They always made sure we were happy and comfortable, and often offered to grab us anything we needed from the shops! Shiv's baking is absolutely wonderful, and there is always a happy buzz around the house. Our room was a good size for us, with loads of storage and a comfy bed. Throughout our entire stay we were happy, comfortable and felt very much at home, and the ladies made our stay in Brighton a memorable one. Xxx
Shivvy and Tracey are the most adorable hosts you can wish for. You will enter a house full of warmth, humour and positivity and their lovely little dog Eddie is absolutely fun to have around you. I have felt so much more than just being a guest at their home; I feel I have met two new friends and I sure do hope to return again soon enough. Recommended home to stay for sure! Thank you, Shivvy and Tracey, for such a wonderful time! :-)
This guest awarded the host 4 hearts but didn’t leave any comments.
I moved to Brighton to start a course at the University of Sussex and stayed with Shivvy and Tracey for 1 month. I had a wonderful time with them! They really made me feel welcome and made sure I was ok, being very helpful and supportive throughout all my stay.
Shiv and Tracey are great people, I stayed with them for 2 months and really felt at home! I would definitely recommend staying with them, they’re lovely and were always helpful whenever I needed something. Thanks girls
My week in Brighton was amazing!! Not a very long stay but enough to say I was lucky to be at Shiwy and Tracey ‘s home!! Cosy, house, quiet neighborhood, well connected to the city centre. And best of all, these lovely girls made me feel home from the very beginning. I highly recommend this home to stay and would like to say thank you again to these ladies. Hope to come back some day
The stay at Shivvy and Tracey was o.k. We were there for 2 weeks, but the hosts were almost never at home, because they were working at some festival. The house is very small and it took us every day 20 min. by bus to get to the pier. A lot of breakfast stuff was old and we had to buy cereals, milk and eggs etc. by ourselves to have breakfast. No changes of fresh bed blankets and towels. But all in all we enjoyed our stay in Brighton. Nice neighbourhood next to Shivvy`s place.
I've spent half a year with Shivvy and Tracey while studying in Brighton. While staying with them, they made sure that I always felt at home and they helped me a lot whenever I needed it. They also cared a lot about me and everyone that stayed with them, even if it was just for a short time. Looking back at my stay, it felt like becoming part of their family after staying for so long with them and I hope that I'll get the chance to return to them in the future.
What can I say? These lovely ladies are just the most welcoming fun hosts you could hope for. I was nervous coming over as I'd never left home before but you should have no hesitations as I felt immediately at home in their lovely cheerful house. They made me feel at ease and helped me find my way. This was the best way to start my adventure and I'm glad to be a part of their international family. All my love girls, thank for everything. Xx
Shivvy and Tracey were absolutely AMAZING!! They are beautiful people that will definitely make you feel at home and welcomed. This was my first time using homestay and it was definitely the best experience of my life. If you are looking to stay with people that make you feel like family it is definitely them!! They are very helpful with anything you might need. The house is very very cozy and you pretty much have everything you need there. Thank you for the most amazing 3 months of my life!! <3
