Well-travelled, easy-going host offers a large, very comfortable double room in a 1920s house in the heart of city centre of Chester and in the Garden Quarter. The house is serviced with excellent amenities, inc super-fast broadband Av.358mbp, and large kitchen and south facing garden.

About the Area
Walk out of the house one way and you can enjoy a ten minute walk along the canal and past the famous Roman walls to Northgate Street, one of the main, buzzing shopping streets of Chester. Walk the other way, and you can choose between large supermarkets, clothing and household outlets eg TK Maxxx Dunelm as well as the big national, car showrooms an, of course, Chester city football stadium. You are also situated on the edge of Chester within five minutes walk of a gentle stroll into the countryside. We are ideally situated for any type of traveller!
Deliveroo, Uber eats et cetera usually deliver within 10 minutes. Taxis arrive within five. Parking is on-street and always available and free; I have a garage which is available for guests’ cars or bikes to use. I only ask that you let me know in advance, please!

Great homestay, lovely house and plenty of parking nearby as well. Host is very friendly and is happy to leave you to it, or have a chat as well- whichever your preference is. I stayed there for few weeks and have nothing but good things to say!

Done what it said on the tin. as a frequent race goer finding this is an absolute gift. 20mins from the course. clean tidy, bed comfy . given instructions via email etc, left to our own devices. the host text us asking was everything ok? it was. definitely stay here again. great value. thanks Richard

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
