About the Homestay
My bright, cosy and central 3-bedroom flat is in the lively and cultural area of Leith. It is close to great cafes, bars, and supermarkets. It is a peaceful home and only a 10-minute bus journey, or 20-minute walk, from the bus and train stations and city centre. You'll love my place because of the flood of daylight, comfortable bedroom, cosy dining kitchen where we can sit together, the vibrant neighbourhood and closeness to Leith shore area.
The single room is bright and fully furnished with a bed, new desk, a chair, chest of drawers, coat rail and WiFi access available.
I have always enjoyed hosting and meeting people from different cultures and have travelled and lived in a few countries myself. For a while I worked in an English language school with international students and I'm originally from Germany but have lived here for over 10 years. So I know what it's like to arrive in a new place and I enjoy making people feel welcome. I speak English, German, some French and a tiny bit of Portuguese. Edinburgh is beautiful and welcoming and I'm sure you will enjoy it very much.
If you are interested in finding out more or arranging a visit or Skype chat, please just get in contact. I look forward to meeting you!
Thanks and best wishes,

Very nice room, enough space for all my stuff. Clean flat, everyone was concerned with keeping all the communal spaces clean. Mira and her flatmate were both very kind people and also included me in their social life. 5/5 would stay there again.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
