I love to keep my apartment clean and tidy and very happy to share the living space if you keep areas you use clean tidy at all times after use.
I like to live a reasonably quite untroubled life so keeping noise to a minimum after midnight is important.
Please do not invite strangers into my home. If you would like to invite a trusted friend you must have my consent in advance and I charge an extra if staying over.
Ensure that the apartment is safe and secure by ensuring the front door is firmly locked and when going out nothing that can cause an electrical fire is left on.
Please make yourself at home and enjoy your stay. If there is anything you need help with just ask as I am always happy to help if I can.
Smoking is allowed outdoors only.
Joanna - the perfect hostess!
From the first moment on, I felt sure I had made the right choice with Joanna. Her friendly and welcoming nature - not to mention her friendly and welcoming dog! - immediately made me feel at home, and her excellent support soon helped me to find my feet in the new city.
The location, too, was ideal with a bus stop just outside the flat and with easy access to the town centre.
As for the flat itself, I found the bed very comfortable and the room was also lovely.
All in all, a great experience!
I would highly recommend this Homestay. Public transport is frequent from Edinburgh city Centre to the flat and close to a bus stop. Joanna has a lovely home, the bedroom is nicely decorated and the double bed has a very comfy mattress. Joanna is an excellent host, so helpful and made me feel welcome from the start. I really enjoyed the local parks and hill walking, close to her home where she walks her very friendly, pet dog, Tara. Im glad I booked, a real break from the stress of London. I do hope I can return in the near future.
