A pleasant stay, where I discovered the culture and habits of an English life. I liked family moment and theirs activities.
Nola and Robb are very kind and they took good care of my daughter and me. They included us in the family life and outdoors activities. They were very kind and after four weeks we were very sad when we left.
Although the hostess was really welcoming and the breakfast was excellent, house could do with an upgrade, no lock on bedroom door, need more plugs in bedroom, no place to store clothes, no tv in bedroom, back garden and front garden needs sorting out and smells of dog urine ,
Nola was really kind when I missed my train and next one was delayed, so I arrived very late in evening. She was genuinely concerned for my welfare and I felt really welcome. Rest of the family were friendly and polite including kids. Clean and comfortable. Nola upgraded me to double bedroom for no increase in price, and brought my bike in out of rain.
Very nice, helpful, cheerful and friendly family. They made me feel as if were at home.
How do I book?
Contact the host about your stay - tell them a little about yourself, why you are staying and ask any questions you have about their homestay. You will be able to book immediately after sending your message.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal.
