I live with my daughter who is 17 and at 6th form college. I work for the Government as a civil servant and wfh 3 days a week, we have a dog a border collie named Holly she is getting on now 11 years old. We live in a suburb called Sidcup the shops are only a minutes' walk. Central London is 25 minutes by train. You can walk to the train station it takes 15 minutes. I have 1 double bedroom spare with storage and a desk. There is a kitchen diner and a front room with a TV and 2 sofas. I like yoga and walking my dog, watching movies and cooking.

About the Area

We live near the high street which takes a minute to walk to, you have McDonalds, Starbucks, a gym, lots of restaurants, coffee bars, 2 pubs and a cocktail bar. The station is walkable 15 mins or you can get the bus from the high street. We have nice parks and a meadow with a river running through nearby. Lots of buses run through the high street you can get a bus into London if you don't want to take the train.

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
