Me And my son live together in our two bedroom flat, we spend alot of time together, as i am very family orientated. As well as enjoyung eachothers company, we enjoy others just as much and are looking forward ro meeting new people from different background and different culture to ourselves. Im from a caribbean background, and love to express this through my carribean dishes i preparw on a regular basis, however I am very versitile when catering for others off different taste and dietary needs.

About the Area
My home is situated in Sydenham (lower sydenham) in the london borough of lewisham. This is a clean and quiet environment with a number of local corner shops, aswell as sainsburys which is one of the biggest supermarkets in sydenham. Transport is also easily accessible, taking only a five minute walk to get to a busstop. with buses oporating from lower Sydenham to various areas, such as crystal palace, Brixton, lewisham, catford and bromley. Busses from lewisham also travel to cebtral london for tourist attraction. My home is also located in the center of two train stations, lower sydenham station and sydenham station, which is in upper sydenham, about 15-20min walk from my home or any bus going towards crystal palace.

1) there is NO smoking allowed in my home as i have an infant, however can smoke outdoors
2) access to washing machine allowed if staying 7nights or over
3) make sure you clean up after yourselves at all times ( ask if you are unsure of where things are kept or where they go)
4) no outdoor shoes are allowed inside ( take shoes off at doorstep)
5) no eating is allowed on the sofas, eat and drink at dining table
6) ask before using all appliances

I can truly and honestly say that this was the best homestay experience I have ever had. Shanelle was extremely welcoming and helpful with a lovely, clean and comfortable home. The room was in superb condition upon my arrival. If there was ever one thing I regret, it would be me not extending my stay with the host. I highly recommend those looking for a homestay to consider Shanelle as your host. Superb!

I really enjoyed staying with Shenelle! The flat is really nice and clean, so it felt really like "home". In the surroundings of the flat there is a huge sainsbury's and a lot other small shops and restaurants. So you really have everything you may need! Shenelle is a lovely person, you can always ask if you have any questions. I really recommend staying with her!

Would recommend if you are looking for somewhere basic and relatively cheap to stay. Shenelle is a very nice person and easy to get along with. The home is clean and tidy and has decent wifi.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
