My house is a friendly, clean and comfortable home, with a spare double side bedroom with double bed, wardrobe with draws/chest of drawers and a chair (desk is available on request). 24 Wi-Fi access, bathroom with shower and garden. Good size kitchen. A convenient shop directly across from my house. Good transport link by buses going to West or East Croydon train station, bus stop 3 mins walk from house and 10 mins walk to Thornton Heath Bus Station, also 10 mins walk to Therapia Lane Tramlines stop going to West or East Croydon stations with services going to London Bridge and Victoria or to Wimbledon and Central London.
A bit about myself, I have 3 adult children, 2 sons and 1 daughter, not living at home, they are all working, if not travelling to some part of the world. I at present have taken time out from work to study to be an Assessor a change of career from Accountant. Most Sunday’s we will get together (if they are in the country) for family meals full of cooking and laughter at home.

About the Area
My home is on a quiet and safe residential road, with access to amenities (take away food shops, restaurants, pubs, bars and gym) bus stops and tram stop within walking distant. Trains running very frequently straight to and from Gatwick Airport to East Croydon. East Croydon Station has just seen the opening of Boxpark with 35 variety of food and drinks trendy and vibrant outlets on 31st October 2016. Transport by bus, number 264 bus - 26 mins (4.02km) from my address. Located in West Croydon is Whitgift and Centrale Shopping Centre housing a large of variety of Stores, shops and in the surrounding area restaurants, wine bars, pubs. Plus, Museum of Croydon at Croydon Clocktower, for you to explore the galleries. Transport by bus, number 264, 289 - 21 mins’ journey (1.3km) or 8 mins walk (from address) to Croydon University Hospital to bus stop for various buses going to West Croydon Town Centre. Imperial way is in Purley Way, Croydon which offers Vue cinema, various restaurants, bowling Alley and gym. Transport by bus No 289-travelling time 17 mins.

Please note that I only accept guests who have their ID verified on their account, and a profile picture in which they are clearly visible uploaded.
I ask that guest please clean up after themselves at all times kitchen, bath/shower and bathroom sink after use and be respectful.
No outdoor shoes or trainers round the house please.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
