A spareroom in a quiet apartment on top of a residential tower with super views. Well located on the doorstep of the City of London. Ideal for solo travellers who need to be near central London.
I can provide maps and guidance on whats around. More than happy to give time to point out local interests and walks, practical advice.
I am a frequent traveller and an occasional host. Interested in environmental issues and urban culture. And meeting new people.
The wireless internet speed is 500Mb download and upload. There is no TV in the flat.

About the Area
A compact quiet simple flat at Cable Street which is an East London landmark. Spectacular views across London from every window, including Canary Wharf and the Thames. Next to the City of London (London's financial district) and the river Thames. Some great walks along the river and Tower Bridge, St. Katherine's Dock nearby.
Shoreditch and the famous East End Brick Lane market are fifteen minutes walk away. Tower Bridge is ten minutes and London Bridge twenty minutes along the river.
Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
- Shoes are left in the hall. Please bring a pair of slippers or just use a spare one here for indoors.
- It is a vegetarian flat. Therefore no meat in the flat please; everything else ok e.g. eggs and milk. Light use of the kitchen is fine.
-use of washing machine and dryer max once a week
-flat curfew 00.30-06.30 hours unless arranged with host. Quiet, peaceful flat, not suitable for guests wanting to spend late nights out returning under the influence of drink.

Siraj is a great host and we spoke a lot. The flat was clean and has good amenities. The single room was clean, has lots of storage and has a large desk. Also the view outside of Canary Wharf and the shard is amazing. I will be staying again the next time in London.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
