About the Homestay
I live with my daughter in a big Edwardian 4 bed house situated in the north London suburbs.
Our home has just been re-decorated throughout including all the bedrooms (new beds, mattress, bed linen) to a high standard. We have a large kitchen/dinning area, we have a lovely natural stone bathroom/shower & toilet room for guests only, ( family have own bathroom ) & large sitting room which leads into the garden with seating area & BBQ which guests are very welcome to use. Free Wi Fi (latest BT smart hub 2) available in all rooms, continental breakfast included with the room price. Laundry facilities provided only for guests staying longer than one week. We have plenty of good restaurant's near by & there is a beautiful park just over the road from us. My large family have flown the nest, but we would like to share our hospitality with you.

Full continental breakfast included in the room price.
I can provide a freshly cooked evening meal (I'm a chef) and packed lunch upon request at small extra cost.
I also provide travel carry cot, high chair, pushchair.

About the Area
Our house is located just around the corner from palmers green main line station (zone 4) with direct links into Finsbury park, kings cross & Moorgate, approx 20mins into the city. Our nearest tubes stations are Southgate & wood green, approx 5 mins or very short bus ride away . Buses just around the corner with links into town.

Pam was a wonderful host - kind and accommodating. I spent just under three months living with the family, and while none of us could have predicted a global pandemic, Pam went out of her way to make me feel safe and at home. If I could give six hearts I would! There is a reason why so many people keep coming back to staying at Pam's; she has exactly the right balance of being down for a friendly chat, and letting you have your own space. The house is exceptionally clean and Sara and Nick are beyond wonderful. I would recommend Pam's to all of my friends, and hopefully I will be back soon.
Nous sommes restés une semaine chez pamela c était très sympa. La maison est très agréable et tout parfait. C est une hôte très accueillante avec qui on peu discuter et une très bonne cuisinière. Bien situé à 20mn de Londres et la gare est à 2mn à pied. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Je le recommande fortement.
Wow, what a fabulous host! The accommodation was pleasant and comfortable and is very convenient for local amenities. Most importantly for us, it was great for getting to and from London by train (which is a 2 minute walk away) in a short period of time! There was more than enough choice with regards to the continental breakfast and Pamela offers extra meals too! The PLUS side for us, was that whilst most of the other home stays in the area were charging extremely high prices over the New Year period, Pamela kept her prices to a minimum. We really appreciated that. Would we recommend this homestay..... 100% !!!! Thank you Pamela. We will definitely be visiting again

Je suis enchantée de mon séjour à Londres. Pamela a été très agréable et accueillante. Sa maison est superbe et très confortable. L'accès à sa cuisine et le petit déjeuné très varié sont des plus. Il faut environ 50 mn de chez elle pour arriver à la station de métro HOLBORN
( bus et ligne PICCADILLY) mais c'est très simple.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
