We are a happily married couple, with a friendly toddler and a cat. My husband is English from Indian origins and I am French. We are both very social people but also respect mutual privacy. We are living in the house so feel free to interact as much or as little as you like :).
Our house is in a newly built complex, our neighbours are lovely and the area is very quiet - you would not believe you were so close to the town centre. We are 20 minutes walk from Colliers Wood station (zone 3 on the Northern line), 15 minutes walk from Mitcham Eastfields train station or 10 minutes walk to Belgrave Walk Tram stop, which can take you to Wimbledon or Croydon. You have local superstores such as ASDA and Lidl close by (5min walk) or M&S and Sainsburys and other major shopping outlets and restaurants 15min walk or 5min drive from the house.
The room is on the first floor of a three bed terrace home. It is a spacious double bedroom with a large window that allows in lots of natural light and overlooks the garden. The room has dimmer lighting with a double bed, side tables with lamps for the readers, a large wardrobe and a TV. The area is very quiet so you can enjoy your space in peace. You will have a key to secure this room.

House Rules
You will have access to the shared bathroom on the first floor which has bath/shower, handbasin and wc. Toiletries provided but it is preferable if you bring your own towels.
The communal areas will be the kitchen, the living room, downstairs wc and the garden.
All appliances can be used but expected to be cleaned and left as found after.
There will be no access to the 2nd bedroom on first floor or the second floor.
We would kindly ask the guest to keep the noise to a minimum level after 11 pm.

Smoking is allowed outdoors only.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
