We live in a 3 bedroom semi detached house on a leafy quiet road backing on to a lovely park, 5 minutes walk from the train station and 2 minutes from bus stops. Our neighbours are lovely - it's a fabulous community we live in.We have two living rooms and a conservatory leading into a private back garden with a patio and BBQ. We have a large lovely spare bedroom overlooking the front garden. There's just two of us - my 7 year old son and myself. I work from home so am always around and love cooking. We're known for our hospitality and love welcoming people in to our home. We have a spare bike that can be used if guests want to explore, though public transport in on our doorstep. I own a seven-seater car and would happily take guests out on trips - we live on the edge of the hills which are beautiful. We love walking and also own a double seater kayak if guests are keen to try their hand on the local waterways with us! We have no pets, just lots of laughter and a lovely home!

About the Area
Our house is on the edge of a fabulous large very friendly village with shops to cater for every need, and on the edge of beautiful countryside. We live 5 minutes walk from the train station and 2 minutes from the bus stop. We live close to the hills - a 5 minute drive or 20 minute cycle ride to be in the middle of great walks either in the hills or on the canal.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
