We live in a 5 bed room Victorian semi-detached house not far from the centre
of Sheffield. It is conveniently situated close to the university, the hospital
and a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Within a few minutes walk we also have 3 local parks, one with a lake and another with a museum and bandstand.
Our children have grown up and left home, so now it is just the two of us. We
have a cat called Bella and a dog called Flossie and we keep three chickens in the back garden.
The garden is small but has a pleasant patio and covered barbecue area.

About the Area
Our house is located about 5 minutes' drive from the city centre and there is a
good bus service which passes nearby. There are 3 lovely parks very near to
our house as well as some good local shops and a variety of bars and
restaurants.
The beautiful Peak District is only about 20 minutes' drive from our house,
which is well worth a visit.

Great experience in this lovely house.
I was made very welcome by Lize and her family who quickly made me feel at home.
The room is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The private and spacious bathroom allows for more privacy.
I would highly recommend staying in this house which is very well located in Sheffield.November 2021
The room was beautiful and comfortable with a large bed and a clean toilet. Liz is really warm and kind and so is her family. Bella and Flossy are adorable too. All in all, a great place to stay. Thank you Liz for the wonderful time at your place!

I had a brilliant two nights stay with Elizabeth, and Roger who were fantastic and very friendly hosts. It was a very comfortable and nice house in a very nice part of Sheffield and close to the City Centre. I would very much like to come back for another visit sometime.

It has been quite long time since I felt somewhere as good and as welcome as I did with Liz and Roger. They are super nice and friendly, welcoming people and you feel like knowing them forever. The house is beautiful, its history can be felt. The location couldn't be any better, safe area, two wonderful parks nearby, great and frequent bus connection to the city. What else do you need?

The host cancelled the booking 7 days before the arrival date.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
