This apartment is situated in one of The Most Quintessentially English Sea-side towns in the North of England with over 22 miles of coast. We can sleep 2 guests in this beautifully refurbished property, with its extraordinary location, close to several golf courses, Hesketh Park, the Marine Lake and of course the seaside. We are within walking distance of the famous Lord Street for your shopping and entertainment needs.
We offer scrumptious beds, Victorian elegance and relaxation away from the bustle of a lively town. We are a train ride away from Liverpool or Manchester. There are many events held at Southport throughout the year such as the famous Southport Flower Show held in August and Fireworks Displays to Music in the Autumn.
The apartment is one of two in a beautiful Victorian house, my husband and I live in the apartment below so will be on hand should you need anything; the available private room will be in the upper apartment. The apartment will be shared with 2 other occupants, including bathroom, living room and kitchen. The kitchen will have basic supplies for you and you are welcome to bring any food with you that you may need for your stay. A light Breakfast will be provided in your kitchen.

About the Area
Southport is a Victorian seaside resort about 15 miles north of Liverpool. Lord Street was the model for the boulevards of Paris. There is a large salt water lake which provides opportunities for boating and sailing.
The Sefton coast is classified as an area of special scientific interest. Vast sandy beaches and outstanding sand dunes make it a great place for walking and for children. Most of the beaches are dog friendly. Formby National Trust area is a short drive or train ride away. Southport is very cycle friendly and the Trans Pennine cycle / walking path starts from here.
The Martin Mere wildlife refuge is within 30 minutes.
Southport has a wide choice of restaurants and pubs within walking distance of the house. It is the home of the Royal Birkdale Golf Course, where the Open and Ryder Cup are played. There are several other first-rate links courses. The Southport flower show and many other events are held in Victoria Park and there are theatres and a large cinema.
Just about everything is very close, just a short walk.
Southport train station is a 10 minutes’ walk. With trains direct to Manchester, Liverpool etc
Bus stops are very close.

We request that guests agree to : Absolutely NO smoking in the house, this is a quiet house so please be considerate of other guests.
We're afraid we're not suitable for children and babies and we ask that guests don't wear inside shoes inside the house (we provide spa slippers).

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
