We live in a big detached corner house facing fields, but we are close to Birmingham, the second largest city in England, and close to Shakespeare's birthplace: Stratford-upon-Avon. We enjoy chatting with our guests who come to England to improve their English. There is plenty to see in our area. It is always an amazing experience for foreign students. I also have a small language centre next to my house, where students can have daily English tuition for which payment can be arranged according to the hours and days needed. In the summer we can sit in the garden, when the weather is good and it's very pleasant to have have lunch outside or an occasional BarBQ - Please do not hesitate to contact me for more information. I will be very happy to help and answer your questions.
Additional Info
We also offer accommodation for long-term students, those who wish to attend an English grammar school from September to the following year in June. This is the 6th Form Study Programme, for students around 16-17 years. A good local school can be arranged for the student to frequent ,and normally it's quite close to our house, from 10 to 20 minutes bus ride to the school, but the furthest school would have a 35 minute bus journey approximately.

About the Area
Our house is located in a partly built area and partly green belt (a long stretch of fields) yet we are only a 30-minute bus ride away from Birmingham, the second largest city of England, which is also known as the heart of England. Our house is close to two bus stops; on one side you catch the bus to go to Birmingham city centre and on the other you go on a 10 minute ride to Sutton Coldfield, which is a small friendly town, and yet you find lots of good shops. We have many good school in the area of Sutton Coldfield, and lots of foreign students get accepted for a whole school year. Sutton Coldfield has a extremely large and beautiful park. There is a lot to see in our area. Oh, just up the road from our house, a few minutes walk there is a mini supermarket and a good hairdresser's salon. The buses are quite frequent - we have a good bus service. It's very convenient, it makes a student's stay satisfactory, as you are not isolated and yet in a quiet area.

House Rules
Please make sure you to keep our house secure by locking both doors when you go out, making sure you close your bedroom window, as well. Please keep your room as tidy as you can. Please leave the bathroom clean after use, for the next person. Kindly wash up after breakfast, or when helping yourself for a midday snack. If you smoke please go outside or in the garden, since smoking is not allowed in our house. Please do not invite strangers into our house, but if you wish to invite a friend, kindly let us know and introduce your friend to us. While you are staying with us you will be like a member of our family and we would like you to feel at home and comfortable.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
