Perfect quiet rural holiday location 30 minutes from Riga vibrant capital city of Latvia. The popular countryside just 25 miles outside the city will give you the break you need to restore and recover from the bustles and hustles of the city whether it's Riga, London or Berlin. You can enjoy peaceful country walks , bike rides, forest walks and foraging if you wish to try that, a swim in the River Liela Jugla 2 minutes walk from the house and maybe you can even catch a fish there or got for some distance skiing in the winter months.
We are located in a quiet road and only 5 min drive to local amenities incl shops, Bus to Riga which is Ropazi village centre . We are only 25 minutes away from Sigulda, 5 minutes from Ropazi, 30 minutes away from Riga, 45 minutes away from Jurmala famous seaside with it's sandy beaches and multitude of great restaurants to suit any taste . The acammadation has..... wonderful bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The Farmstead has wealth of period features and wonderful country feel a true retreat to have a quiet holiday time away from home.

Additional Info
We are an English speaking family but I speak fluent Russian and also Latvian, I also offer English lessons to foreign students. Continental breakfast is included and we can provide meals and full board for you as a separate arrangement at extra cost.

About the Area
Our House is located in the conservation area of Walmer near Deal 20 minutes by walk or 5 minutes by car, 2 minutes away from a lovely old church. We are also near all amenities the village store, bakery etc and are convenient for everything including bus services but in a quiet residential spot. It is a friendly, safe and peaceful neighbourhood .

House Rules
Consider others and keep the noise down after 10.00pm and if you would like to prepare a light meal for yourself you are welcome to do so but remember to clean after yourself. Please be wise with all energies used and do not waste anything. Not sure about anything please ask, I am here to help. Close the windows when you go out.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
