First you will be welcomed by two small friendly dogs who will make you feel like part of the family before you have even brought your bags inside. You will be welcomed into a tasteful, modern, clean home with high end fixtures, fittings and furnishings. Unique and exquisite views across an open meadow landscape will lighten your soul no matter what the season. A tour of the downstairs draws the eye from a delightful and bright kitchen/lounge/diner, to the bi-fold doors which open out to views over the meadows where if you time it right, you will see cows grazing or poking their heads over the fence.
You will be taken upstairs and shown to your double bedroom (which also overlooks the meadow). A comfortable double bed offers perfect positioning for watching the large-screen TV (with complimentary access to TV subscription packages). Although not en-suite, your sole-use shower room is right next to your bedroom. It is sparkly clean and modern.
Your hostess, an experienced teacher of English as a foreign language, will do everything possible to make your stay relaxed and memorable for all the right reasons.

Oxhey Village is a desirable historical residential pocket on the outskirts of Watford offering quaint pubs and cafes to enjoy after rambling walks and countryside foraging. It is equally convenient for access to Watford’s vibrant leisure and nightlife venues.
Bushey Village is walkable (within 10 minutes) offering renowned eateries such as Vincenzo’s Pizza (see TripAdvisor).
Oxhey Village has incredible transport links with both public and private transport access across the country. Watford Town Centre (15-20 minute walk) offers fantastic shopping, leisure and restaurant facilities. Leavesden (Warner Bros.) Studios is easily accessible. Central London (Euston) is a 15 minute train ride away.

Outdoor shoes should be removed before entering rooms.
Food is not provided, but there is a convenience store within a 3 minute walk and a local cafe which is a 5 minute walk. Access to a sole use fridge will be offered.
Smoking indoors is not permitted. But if you choose to go outside and smoke, then this will not be an issue.
Prices reflect the equivalent rental value and running costs of the property.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
