Walk to the quaint, one street western town along the famous Pacific Crest Trail which runs directly in front of our adobe castle on the hill. Quiet, high desert chaparral only minutes from major LA attractions. The best of both worlds!

Please feel free to inquire even on blocked out days, as sometimes our schedule will open up unexpectedly.

40 mi from Los Angeles/Burbank metro area, Universal Studios, 15 minutes from Magic Mountain theme park, and a little over an hour to Disneyland is a beautiful horse ranch nestled in a mountain valley, (a safe and quiet place to stay) the small town of Agua Dulce. The one- street town hosts the best mexican restaurant in So Cal, a coffee shop and two bars with weekend bands.

Brand New! Just opened, Mon Ami Cafe is run by a French Canadian sous chef, now the best food in town, open 7-7 (closed betw. 3-5pm and Mondays).

The Pacific Crest trail runs directly in front of the house, 1 mile to Vasquez Rocks park. The house is built around a garden courtyard with a fountain. There is a home gym with treadmill, weights, bowflex, mirrors and television.

A PRIVATE BATHROOM with shower, large tub, and double sinks adjoins the room, and a large, comfortable queen bed awaits.

We run a small horse rescue, White Fox Horse Rescue, and this is home for abused and abandoned horses.

Free internet, cable tv, plenty of parking. We provide a full breakfast the first day of a stay, if we are in residence (depending on our work schedule). After that, for longer stays, we have an assortment of continental items, tea and coffee.

The White Fox Horse Rescue holds horse training and care classes for the community..to check dates and details you can find Santa Clarita Horse Rescue on "Meetup". If you are a guest on the day we have a meetup, you are welcome to participate!

For Vasquez Rocks hiking information, (website hidden) has many resources.

We also offer the following for additional fee- Personal trainer session in the gym, Horse Handling/Training sessions.

Guest Access
Kitchen and living room access, shared. The back deck is under renovation currently, so the back yard is off limits.

Interaction with Guests
Our interactions depend on our work schedules. We like to be available to greet our guests on arrival and if we are in residence, we like to provide a nice breakfast on the first day.

The Neighborhood
quiet, mountainous high desert chaparral with estate sized ranches. Loads of white vinyl fence everywhere you look, although ours is brown because we are the rebels!

Getting around
Not much in the way of public transport out here..

Other Things to Note
Casual attire is welcome! We call it "Agua Dulce Chic" - we dress mostly in sweats or shorts and boots. It's the order of the day. You are also welcome to run around in pajamas!
