About the Homestay

The apartment is located in NYC but specifically the borough of Brooklyn. Travel time to Manhattan is 20 minutes, Grand Central is 37 minutes. The apartment is shared between myself, my fiance, roommate and 3 cats. The room available to you is completely private and contains a twin bed, desk, iMac and private closet. The bathroom is shared among the occupants. There is a full kitchen and living room available for your use at any time.

About the Area
The apartment is located east of Manhattan. But is easily accessible by subway, bus or Uber/Lyft. The subways nearby are the JMZ & L. Multiple bus lines are everywhere in the neighborhood. There is a grocery store on the same block. The nearby area as deli's and restaurants. Food Delivery is available almost anytime of the day or night. There is a park and a shopping area about 8-10 minutes walk north of the apartment. In case of an emergency there is a hospital close by called Woodhull Hospital. It is one subway stop away.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

Quiet hours are from 11pm to 9 am.
Parties and events are not allowed in the apartment.
Please no extra guests. If you must have an overnight guest there is a $30/night fee.
Please keep cats out of the bathroom and your bedroom.
Since the kitchen, living room and bathroom are shared, you Must clean up after yourself.
A bathroom caddy is available for you to store and carry your toiletries to and from the bathroom. Toiletries are available if you need any! :)
Smoking is not allowed.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
