Welcome to Burr Ridge. We live in an affluent suburb of Chicago near the Argonne National Laboratory. The home is on a quiet street with close access to I-55. The town center has retail shops and plenty of restaurants. It is a big house with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, a swimming pool and large driveway. The guest bedroom is on the first floor with a view of the front lawn, its own private full bathroom, closet and study desk. The homestay includes Wi Fi. We speak English and Spanish at home.

About the Area
Our house is located in a quiet neighborhood. The guest must have transportation since the train station is not within walking distance and there is no bus transportation. The town center has a lot of retail shops, bars and restaurants. We live near many parks if you like hiking and nature.

House Rules
-Quiet hours after 8PM
-No swimming in pool after 8pm
-No Weapons, Pets, Drugs or Smoking
-No foul language (we have children living in the house)
-Must be in the house while your guests are here
-No outside guests without prior permission
-Not allowed to go upstairs or basement without permission
-If you dine with our family, you must help clean afterward
-No shoes in house
-Clean up after using the kitchen and wash dishes and pans
-Lock door after leaving the house
-No eating in your room
-You break, you buy
Key Deposit- $100
If key is lost, Lock Replacement Fee- $350
Payment must be made via bank transfer in advance. The room will not be held/reserved until payment is received. No refund if cancelled after the reservation is booked.
Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is not allowed.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
