I am a family of four (myself and my 3 dogs: Gigi, Chica and Max - the man of the house). My door is open for family and friends. I'm retired law enforcement and now I am a holistic health practitioner and chef-in-training. My house is fun-loving, spacious, and safe. I'm in walking distance from a shopping mall, restaurants, and the trolley to downtown and many colleges.
You can swim in my jr. olympic swimming pool, relax in my jacuzzi, work out in my home gym, or just watch movies in your room with your own private TV. i will provide any breakfast foods you would like to prepare, and on occasion will invite you to eat dinner with me. I would be delighted to have you stay in my home.

About the Area
My house is located at the north side of the city in a safe suburb. I am 3km from downtown Chula Vista city center. I am a 15 minute drive from the airport. The bus stop is only a 2 minute walk, and the trolley is about 10 minutes.

House Rules
You are like one of the family, so we all pitch in with family chores around the house and clean up after yourself. It will be your responsibility to keep your room and bathroom clean; I will provide cleaning supplies. No overnight guests allowed.

I love this homestay. Host mom is so friendly and kind, she always helped us. Her dogs are so cute and lovely. I will miss them and if I go back to SD, I want to stay there again.

The best homestay experience. Tammi is a wonderful, and caring lady, who is always willing to help! It really felt like a home away from home. The house is huge and really beautiful, and you cannot beat the backyard with tremendous pool , jacuzzi and gym. The location is great, 7-10 minutes from dozens of restaurants, chain stores, and from the big mall. Blue Line trolley takes you to downtown in less than 30min.
Thanks so much for a great time in San Diego, and if I have a chance to come to back to San Diego, I will choose your homestay without a doubt!

Tammi was AWESOME, she was so welcoming and friendly. The pictures don't give her beautiful house credit. We stayed in the antique room and the bed was so comfortable, I slept like a newborn baby. If you are looking for an affordable place with amazing service stay with Tammi you wont regret it!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
