Our family loves to travel and host international guests. Our son lives in San Diego; our daughter recently got married and lives very close to us.
Wes (host father) is a pastor at EastLake Church and chaplain of the Chula Vista and National City Police Departments. Aimee (host mom) works from home as a certified Health and Life Coach.
Breakfast foods are provided, and on occasion when Aimee makes dinner, you will be invited to join us. We are very considerate about dietary restrictions. Aimee is sugar free and gluten free. We have an extra refrigerator in the garage that you can use, and our kitchen is always available for you to cook for yourself (or for us - LOL).
We have a lovely backyard garden patio where we love to eat meals and relax when the weather is warm. You will find our home quiet and peaceful, yet full of energy with friends and family who like to visit.
There is a gym just 2 miles away that costs only $15 per month, plus a popular running path near our house.
Citrus trees that produce fresh fruit all year long are scattered around our yard. You will enjoy oranges, lemons, and limes.
There is a reason San Diego is called America's Finest City, and showing off this fine city is something we do with our homestay guests. We have kayaks and enjoy the ocean and San Diego Bay. Hiking is one of our favorite things to do in and around San Diego. You can join us anytime for a hike.
We welcome you to stay with us.

About the Area
Our house is located on the north side of the city in a quiet and safe suburb. We are 10 miles from the city centre (we call it downtown San Diego) and only 15 minutes from the airport. The bus stop is a 10-minute walk from the house, which connects to the trolley. There is a golf course down the street with a 3-mile exercise path that we use on a regular basis. A shopping mall is near our house just 2 miles away.

The Andersons are very kind, nice, and cheerful people, I strongly recommend them if one is planing to stay in San Diego for whatever reason.

Aimee and Wes’s was truly a home away from home! The location is great and very safe, the home is quiet, and the room is very comfortable. I loved getting to know their sweet family while I was there and will hopefully return to visit in the future!

The family was extremely gracious and always available. The room was clean, comfortable and filled with considerate items like laundry basket, tissues, and towels.

I had the best time in San Diego at Aimee and Wes house. From day one I was a part of this wonderful family, and they took me in as their own daughter.
We have a lot of fun with playing and dancing as a family, and Aimee was the most amazing and crazy mom you can imagine.
I will definitely come back and visit my american family.
If you want the best stay in San Diego you should choose to stay with Aimee and Wes.Host reply

Aimee and Wes are wonderful. They felt like my “family away from home.” I’m so grateful I was able to stay in their home. They really went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. I miss them already!

This was the best experience of my life!!!! I am French 20years old and I stayed at their beautiful house during 3months. Aimee and Wes are just perfect, so kind, nice and funny. We have had so much fun together, they just took me everywhere with them, we visited the best places of San Diego. They were always doing their best to make you feel at home. This family is definitely the best one in this website! I will miss them and I will definitely come back !!

I am so happy that I stayed with Aimee and I did it for 5 month. I studied at the SDSU and Aimees house is very close to the freeway, so thats not a problem. By the way - you will love Aimee she is the best baking queen! They are such a lovely family. They helped me for the weeks to find a place, where I could rent a car, they showed me San Diego and the special places. They made my stay awesome!
I would definitely do it again!

Aimee's house is the best homestay in San Diego. I stayed there only five days because I had a chemistry conference there, and it was enough to love! The Anderson's family helped me a lot in all aspects such as transport, interesting places to visit, to shop. I would love to come back and stay again in this homestay. Maybe next year with my husband and we will be only tourists!
