Welcome home to your own private "tree house." This 500 square foot, 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment is new, modern, comfortable, and light-filled, within walking distance of downtown Durham, NC.
Walk to restaurants and cafes, the American Tobacco Campus and trail, Central Park, the Farmers Market, gyms, DPAC, and the Main Library. Duke University and Duke Health are a bike ride away (less than 3 miles).
Built in 2022, the apartment is fully furnished and includes a new dishwasher, washer, and dryer. It's located within the fenced backyard of a family home (2 adults, 2 small dogs) in the historic Cleveland-Holloway neighborhood.
Utilities (electricity and water) and WIFI are INCLUDED in the rent.
You don't have to worry about other people in the apartment complex waking you up. There are no other apartments. You have the building to yourself!
Note that this apartment was originally designed for one human. ** The bed is a FULL, not a queen or bigger. **
TV screens have been installed in the kitchen/living room and in the bedroom for your enjoyment.
Parking is available street side, below a street lamp, with direct access to the walkway leading to the apartment. Note that accessing the rental requires walking from the street, through the backyard, and up one flight of stairs.
If you prefer to not have a car, you can securely store your bike under the apartment. There are also scooters in the neighborhood for getting around.
Please, no pets, parties/events, tobacco, or cannabis.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
