Donna was an awesome host. Ever helpful, friendly and caring. I instantly felt at home when I visited her home in September 2015.

Donna is a fun person. She not only provides a comfortable room but also gives an enthusiastic greeting and thoughtful concern. The room is equipped well and the transportation(bus) is so convenient. I will definitely love to live Donna's house again.

Well, at first i was really happy to get this homestay. At first Donna answered really quick and friendly and helped me to get the right bus and stuff like this but when i arrived at the given address there was no Donna and no Billy (the guy who should let me in). The guy who opened the door after 10 minutes belling and waiting was really friendly and gave me the right address for the room. I was really annoyed of walking around and didn't get the right address.
When I entered the room I was happy to have some space for me, but... there was no AC, no internet access, no TV (even if i didn't need a TV but it's written in the description! ), the rooms smells like a smoker's rooms and looks like one because there was some kind of ash and dirt in the floor.
After texting Donna about my 'issues' with the room she didn't answer. I didn't get any details for my check out so I texted Donna again and she didn't answered again. I just left the keys at the rooms and was happy to leave her house.
After my leaving she told me she tried to call me but I don't believer her and I did never see her. Oh, same with the 'light breakfast', haha...I will not stay there again.

Donna is very nice and good lady. She always give help to make you happy. She has 2 locations to stay in. 1. is a room with bathroom and small kitchen like studio in a building but not inside the house. 2. is a room supposed to be inside her house. I stayed in room 1.

Donna was a wonderful host, ever willing to go that extra mile for you. She was a life-saver when she picked me up after I got lost on the Schuylkill trail :).
To me, she personifies the 'City of Brotherly Love'.

Well. It's a good place, considering the price paid.
Donna was polite e receptive.
The problems are the cigarette smell and the noise. I think there is a window between two bedrooms. The guy that stays in the other room was really noisy, the entire two nights we've been there. So it's difficult to rest.June 2016

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
