We are a conservative family of 3 who enjoy learning about cultures and hope to room an international student. The room for rent is spacious, has a queen sized bed, is fully furnished to include a desk, walk-in closet and a personal bathroom. You can see Pikes Peak from your window. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood south of Colorado Springs. There are several parks located in the vicinity. The home has a large patio with a BBQ and fire pit, as well as plenty of seating space. There is a treadmill in the loft, as well as lounging space and a TV. We enjoy walking, hiking, taking day trips for sight seeing, shopping and eating out. We speak Italian and English, and some Korean.

About the Area
We live on the back side of Eagleside Elementary school in the center of the Cumberland Green community. There is a bus stop only a few minutes walk away that services mainly Fountain but connects to Colorado Springs. There are many restaurants and shopping areas nearby, although Colorado Springs offers more and is only a 20 minute drive away.

House Rules
We are a conservative home so we would not allow romantic visitors, drugs, drinking parties, late night visitors, marijuana, smoking etc. especially since we have a young infant to care for and it matters who enters our home and activities had. Friends may be allowed to visit during the day and stay for dinner, just let us know beforehand and please introduce us to the friend upon arrival. Please consider the evening as quiet time. If you come home late, let us know so we aren’t alarmed if we hear you return late. We have 3 cats. We are open to pay for chores/babysitting performed by you. We would prefer to have a family relationship with the student, but we will leave this up to you. This means you are always welcome on our walks, hiking, sight seeing, outings, eating out, celebrations, shopping, and accompanying us on vacations.
Included Room (Restroom and Bedroom) Cleanliness:
We ask a general cleaning is done twice per month to ensure cleanliness and longevity of the condition of the rooms. Spot cleaning when necessary. We are happy to help with washing linens and vacuuming. You are asked to make your bed. Please ask if you need help/guidance with cleaning. We are here to help and to make you feel comfortable.
Dining:
We do offer free dinner as long as you join us. We desire a close relationship with our guests. This is not required, but we will default on the recommendation of this website if dining together is not wanted by the guest. The recommendation of this website is that you pay for your own foods for lunch, dinner, and snacks. A small breakfast is always included with this stay.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
