Cozy home in a quiet area. Perfect for those working from home or just wanting a place to relax. There is an inviting backyard with plenty of seating areas to enjoy a good book, a glass of your favorite beverage, or a peaceful cup of coffee in the morning.
This is a private bedroom in my home. It is furnished with a queen-sized bed, a small desk, a TV with Netflix, and a chair. Just across the hall is a shared full bathroom that includes plenty of towels, washcloths, soap, and shampoo for guests.
All common living areas are accessible to guests both inside and outside. All guests have kitchen access and are able to cook meals if desired. There is a mini fridge located in the kitchen for guest use and a dedicated space for pantry items during your stay. A coffee pot is kept on the kitchen counter where coffee grounds, filters, sugar, and powdered creamers are provided. Feel free to brew a pot or use the provided hot water kettle to make some tea to start your day!
There is on-street parking available. If you arrive at night, there are solar lights along the walkway to light your path. You will self-check-in via the front door with an access code that is provided to you after booking.
There are 2 cats in the home that are always curious and seeking attention. You can choose to keep quietly to yourself or come out and be a part of our family for the day. You are always a welcomed guest in my home.

About the Area
This is a quiet neighborhood on a cul-de-sac with family-oriented neighbors. Within walking distance to Lucky's grocery store, Grillin and Chillin Alehouse, and McCarthy Park.
There is potential for some car noise as it is still a residential neighborhood inside of town.
Close to downtown Hollister where you can enjoy Restaurants, coffee shops, bars and bakeries. There is a grocery store and a park within walking distance.
A short drive can get you to Monterey, Carmel Valley, and Santa Cruz. Can also commute to San Francisco for a day trip.
In our backyard is Pinnacle National Park where you can enjoy some great hiking trails, and scenic drives or find some birding hot spots. If you want to spend a day on a dirt bike or ATV, Hollister Hills is also close by.
We are also close to the Cienega Valley Wine Trail. Casa de Fruta is a great place to spend a day.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Housetrained pets that are good with cats will be ok with an additional fee AND prior approval. Smoking outside is ok but no smoking in the house or garage.
Guests must keep areas tidy and put away their personal items in the bathroom as it is a shared bathroom with other guests. Respect my home as you would your own and pick up after yourself as you go along so that you don't leave a mess behind.
No overnight guests are other than those on the booked reservation.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
