Renovated Extended House to share with guests during their both short and long-term trips to Houston. Staying in our house, you will find it convenient and easy to navigate through downtown Houston. Our house is just minutes away from the Museum District where you can explore the Houston Zoo, museums in no time.
It is also in walking distance to Houston Community College (HCC), Baylor Medical School, and other big universities in the area. Rice University is just ten minutes away, Houston University is eleven minutes from our house, St Thomas University.
Foreign students who want to improve English will find that our house is only 7 minutes from LCI.
The room is for single occupancy and that's good for you to focus on your job and your study.

About the Area
Our house is located in the midtown area of Houston, next to the Museum District where you can easily access Fine Art and Natural Science Museums together with the Houston Zoo, one of the biggest zoos in the country. Rice University is only 10 mins away, while you can either walk or ride a bike to the Central Campus Houston Community College. The Houston University Central Campus is about 11 minutes away. The bus stop is next to our house to drive you to either downtown or uptown of Houston. From here, it takes you less than 5 minutes to the Red Metro line station to go to the Texas Medical Center. Highway 288 and 59/69 are nearby.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
* No high volume, high pitch music, TV, or talking on the phone loudly after 10:00 pm. All cooking on the stove and furnace must also be done by 10:00 pm.
* One laundry time will be included for guests booked for every 7 nights. Please understand that we don't open laundromat service, but provide it for our guests' convenience, who get their clothes dirty during their stay. For those who need to wash their dirty clothes, a small fee of $8/time is required in advance.
* No smoking on premises, even in the garage or in front of doors. Please talk to us so that we can show you a beautiful place for smoking. Violation will be subjected to a monetary fine of $250+ that will be charged separately from the booking fee.
* No profanity, no drama, no alcohol in any kind, no street drugs in any form, and no weapons are allowed on the premises. Violation will cause your booking to be terminated immediately without any refund and the extra cleaning fee of up to $100 will be charged separately from the booking fee if needed.
* You will be provided a dinner set with enough silverware and you are asked to use and take care of them. In the case those items are missing, you will be asked to compensate the cost to replenish them at the price of $15/each big plate and bowl, $10/each medium to small plate and bowl, and $5/each mug and silverware.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
