Large, furnished 1 bedroom with private, updated bathroom for rent in Marina, CA (15 minutes to Monterey, Salinas and surrounding areas) and 5 minutes to the beach!
The home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac and is close to the beach, grocery store, shopping and dining/ entertainment. The bedroom is a large, master-sized room (13 x 16) at the end of a private hallway in a fully furnished 4 bedroom, 2 bath home. The bathroom has a shower/tub combo with tons of storage and recently updated vanity/ finishings. The bedroom is large and overlooks the front of the house and yard, which is covered in fruit trees and wildflowers, which allows for plenty of sunlight, while still remaining private. The bedrooms flanking the one for rent are rarely used (one is a covid-era home office and the other a spare/ guest bedroom).
The other spaces in the home including a large, fully furnished kitchen with all of the basics, plus things like a dehydrator, bread maker, crockpot, blender, etc. and a small dining room attached. There are two fully furnished living rooms- one with a fireplace and the other with a large, flat screen TV. The backyard has been recently remodeled and includes a large grass area, seating area with fire pit, 9 raised garden beds, greenhouse and covered patio. There is also a covered patio on the front side of the house as well. The garage houses a small gym/ workout area and "toys" like bikes, paddle board, kayak, etc. Plenty of street parking available.
There is a dog who lives at the house, so must be good and comfortable with a sweet, friendly, elderly german shepherd moseying around. I (landlord/ housemate) am a Special Education teacher in my 30s who has been renting the space out for the last 4 years and am just looking for responsible, respectful professionals to help provide a safe, kind and peaceful home space to.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
