We are a family of 4 with a couple of dogs although our two kids have left the nest. We have been hosting international students and guests for about 12 years now. We love sharing our culture and our state and we love learning about your country and your culture as well. We can sometimes be a bit loud and boisterous and we have lots of family and friends that come by as well. We especially love the guests who jump in and become part of our family!

About the Area
Our house is in the center of the cul de sac in a quiet neighborhood near downtown Mesa. We are a suburb of Phoenix/Scottsdale. We aren't far from the Light Rail system. We have a large yard and a private pool. We are extremely close (less than 1/4 mile) to the Spring Training facility for the Oakland Athletics. And not too far from a number of other Spring Training fields. We are about 6 miles from Arizona State University - the light rail runs right into the middle of the university campus. Plus a number of other colleges are nearby as well.

Absolutely NO SMOKING! And if you are under 21, NO DRINKING. And of course - NO DRUGS - of ANY sort!
We do encourage our guests to be part of our family for meals and activities. They are also welcome to use the kitchen at any time.
You are welcome to have a vehicle.
Must like dogs. We do have a couple and one is large. But they aren't allowed on the furniture.

Highly recommended. Kristi & David are very accommodating with nice house in quiet area. Nice people. I stayed 6 weeks, my own bedroom with privacy. Great washer & dryer. Full use of kitchen. Nice accommodating people. Great stay!

They are a nice family and two loving dogs as well. They are always home so I didn’t have to worry about getting in with a code or anything.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
