Wonderful updated single story home on a large corner lot. Recently replaced AC so you are ready for Texas summer heat. You enter to a light and bright entry with a formal living and dining room on the left. The main living area features a vaulted ceiling, wet bar, corner FP and built-ins. The kitchen has an island, a glass cooktop double ovens and is ready for your home chef. The master bedroom is large enough for a sitting area and has an ensuite bath. The ensuite master bath has dual vanities, a tub and separate shower plus great storage. 3 additional bedrooms are all great sized and share a full bath. All secondary bedrooms have ceiling fans. The GUEST bedroom has a built in desk. There is a 12x6 storage room off the laundry room on your way outside. The HUGE covered patio will be perfect for summer mornings and cool fall evenings.

Our home is located 1/2 a mile from the AMC Movie Theater and 6 frequented major restaurants such as Cheddars Scratch Kitchen, Joe's Crab Shack, On the Border, Atheneos Greek Cafe, Shell Shack, Ruby's Tex-Mex, etc. The local park is a short 4 minute walk, while the nearest shopping mall is 2 exits (approximately 2 miles) from our home. There are several indoor and outdoor activities to participate in.

The City of Mesquite houses 76 parks and four recreation centers. The city has been designated a Playful City USA four years running and opened its Heritage Trail system in 2015. Mesquite Golf Club is a 154-acre, 18-hole golf course for both novice and expert golfers. Operated by the City of Mesquite, the course is open seven days a week and features a pro shop and driving range. The 36,700-square-foot municipal arts facility houses a 494-seat music performance hall, black box theater, rehearsal hall, galleries, and support space. The facility serves as the cultural center for the community and is home to the Mesquite Community Theatre, Mesquite Community Band and the Mesquite Symphony Orchestra.

ABOUT THE FAMILY
We are a fun and active family who likes to venture out into the world.

Amber is an Adjunct Faculty member with Dallas College. She teaches GED and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. She recently retired at the age of 37 from the K-12 school system as an SPED and ESL instructional specialist. Her certification is still current with the Texas Education Agency. Amber is pursuing other interests. She recently enrolled in a motorcycle mechanics class. Yes, you read that correctly. She rides a motorcycle and is learning how to fix them. Amber will be the main person you interact with.

Larry is a letter (mail) carrier for the United States Postal Service. He works 6 days a week. You will hardly interact with him due to his hectic and grueling schedule. However, he loves working, interacting with his clients, and resting when he can.

Gavin the energetic, over-active, exploring 18 month year old. He attends daycare, but his mom Amber may take him out to spend quality time. Gavin has a Spanish tutor that comes three times a week just to play with him in Spanish. He is slowly learning to communicate in sign language. Gavin is so bright.
