This newly remodeled property has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and enough sleeping arrangements for up to 6 guests to spread out comfortably throughout an impressive 1,200 square feet of living space, making it an ideal accommodation choice for a family or a group of close friends looking for the ultimate mountain experience.
You’ll feel right at home the moment you step inside the home's beautiful, well-kept interior, boasting upscale furnishings, hardwood flooring and an elegant stone wood-burning fireplace. Massive windows throughout the unit frame breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain scenery and the immense grounds below, creating a serene environment for your trip.
The welcoming home has everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay, including wireless internet access, central heating and a large flat screen TV, outdoor fire pit to enjoy the sunsets with a glass of local wine, a fully stocked kitchen, and a barbecue and eating area on the large deck – sure to appease all your entertainment needs during your vacation.
Fees for the room must be paid in full before your arrival using PayPal. You may pay 50% upon initial booking and the remaining 50% the week before your arrival. An additional fee of $100.00 for cleaning and 12% of the total stay is required to be collected for the Calaveras County Transient Occupation Tax. You may pay these thru PayPal or bring cash (US currency) upon your arrival. Please contact us for the amounts or with any questions. Thank-you.

About the Area
Murphys, the “Queen of the Sierra” also known as the “Little Napa” was voted as one of the 10 coolest towns in America. With more than 24 winery tasting rooms, multiple gourmet restaurants, many boutique shopping stores and historic sites to visit throughout the town, this special place is becoming a regular visitor’s attraction. Your rental home is close enough to quickly visit town, yet far enough to have privacy and adventures in the surrounding trees and trails.
We chose to live here and open our home to visitors like you because we also fell in love with the beauty of the place. Our house sits on a magical, peacefulness hill, close to town, with a 360-degree view of the surrounding valley. We love to share our family-friendly space and organic gardens with you. There are 75 grape vines, 110 blueberry bushes, organic vegetables and freshly made gluten free sourdough bread and treats.
With our homes we created places that were family-friendly yet stylish and encompassing of the beauty outside. You have large decks surrounding the upper floor with a fully stocked gourmet kitchen, a roomy dining room with plenty of books to enjoy. Relax in front of the 72-inch television on the comfortable couch listening to the wood crackling in the fireplace. There are three bedrooms, but one can also be used as a study for privacy or private work space. Wi-Fi is free. Heating and cooling in each room according to the seasons.
We use only organic, health promoting cleaning supplies and materials. There are luxury linens, sheets and essentials needed to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. You have clear views of the valley from every deck and window, so you don’t miss a moment of the beauty, the deer and birds coming by to visit, or the smell of the fresh pine trees and clean air. You are close enough to town to drive there in 5 minutes or you can call a local taxi (listed in our Welcome Book).
The lower grounds and two large balconys provide plenty of room to relax and sunbathe, read a book, enjoy a meal or glass of local wine, or to play outdoor games we have provided on the property. You have full use of the large barbeque grill and the outdoor fire pit for fun family meals and entertainment.
We are a working farm and always have something growing. You are welcome to go into the gardens and pick fresh organic fruits and vegetables to eat. If we are nearby come ask us questions or share a story of your time here – we enjoy meeting new friends. We will give you information about the many hiking trails on the property, the nearby pond or many other fun things to do in the nearby towns. We are here to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
We stay in the separate lower apartment of the house when we are in town. You will know we are there because you will smell the bread baking in our industrial style kitchen. Please feel free to come down and say hello. We are always happy to share ideas, our cooking and newest treats with you!
What can you do?
Main Street in Historic Murphys offers a full day of enjoyment visiting local galleries, museums, restaurants, ice cream shops and boutiques offering a unique variety of items. Friendly, smiling faces will welcome you in as you roam through the 23 tasting rooms lining the street to sample some of California’s best wines (hence the name “Little Napa”). Relax and enjoy the local musicians sharing their talents, or learn about the Gold Rush and history of the area. Drive a few miles up the road to ski in the snow, to hike one of the many mountain trails, or visit some of the pristine lakes that are nearby.

Parking
We provide room to park two vehicles near the front of the residence. If you have more than two cars, please contact us and we will show you the second parking area on the property.
House Rules
No smoking inside of the premises - you are allowed to smoke on the upper balcony or any outside areas. Additional $300.00 cleaning fee if any smoking occurs inside the home area.
Please respect that noise travels a great distance from our hillside. Quiet hours are before 7 am and after 10 pm.
No loud music or loud parties allowed on the premises. After 2 warnings, you will be asked to leave the property forfeiting your fees paid.
No additional people are allowed to spend the night on the property other than those specifically listed on the rental agreement. Any additional guests will incur a charge of $25.00/ night.
Payment for your rental must be paid in full before your arrival. All payments can be made through PayPal. An additional fee of $100.00 for cleaning and a 12% of the total Calaveras County Transient Occupant Tax (TOT) is required to be collected upon arrival, as well. These additional fees can be paid in cash or paid through PayPal. Please contact us for the amount due and with any questions. Thank you!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
