Live like a local in our cozy home in historic Treme.
My boyfriend, Graham, and I live in a shotgun style house (no hallways) with a large backyard which has a fun little tiki bar and a small pool to wade around in on hot summer days. Right outside the guest room we have a projector where you can watch your favorite movies and shows and are welcome to sign into our netflix as well.
Our neighborhood is right in the center of New Orleans, about half way between the French Quarter and City Park and not too far from other popular areas of the city such as the Marigny, the Bywater, Uptown, and Lakeview.
We'd love to welcome you to our cozy house and share this wonderful city with you!

About the Area
We live in a locals neighborhood in the center of the city in Treme, only a 25 min walk to the French Quarter (or a 5 minute Uber, usually around $6). Our neighborhood has everything you need! Several corner stores within a couple minutes walk, and many bars, restaurants, and cafes within a 10-15 minute walk. Our neighborhood is safe and all the neighbors are friendly and go out of their way to wish you a great day. There are several bus stops near us which will get you anywhere you need to go. If you want any tips about good food or places to go, we will be more than happy to share our recommendations with you!

Kathleen is adorable ! The place is amazing, spacious, clean, well decorated. She left tea, beverages, some fruits and cereales for us.We could only see her for a few times but she was nice all the time, she gave us advices about what to do and what to eat in New-Orleans. We were in the city during hurricane Nate and she gaves us instructions just in case, she send messages to see how we were. Fortunatly it was nothing in New Orleans so no problem. Kathleen is a very kind and funny person. The place is in the Treme but safe (neighbours were always nice and polite). Perfect location because it is close to the French quarter, Louis Armstrong Park ( less than 10min by car). I would definitly go back to her place ! Don't hesitates :)
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
