About the Homestay
Hi, my name is Delia. I have a clean and neat room in a cozy apartment in Manhattan. There's also an elevator in the building, (which is accessed by going up one flight of stairs). The building is monitored by cameras. I've lived in Manhattan practically all my life. I love to meet different people from all over. I love to travel, to go to broadway shows, and the movies. I would love to share some of my travel experiences with you! I am an office manager at a Radiologic School in a public hospital in the city.
Please note: The room also has a ceiling fan, iron, hair blower, flat iron, DVD player, mirror, dresser and closet. I provide clean sheets and towels.
In order to ease guests of payment concerns, I ask that guests pay balances via Paypal upon one week before arriving or upon arrival to the apartment.
Check-in time is 12:00 pm on weekends and 4:00 pm on weekdays. Check-out time is 2:00 pm however, if we discuss ahead of time, I can be flexible with both times.... Just tell me what you need and we can make it happen. I am flexible with cancellations and will issue refunds for early departures resulting in unused nights.
This area is easy enough to walk to other neighborhoods such as Chelsea, China Town, Soho, Noho, China Town, West Village and if you like walking, even to midtown.

About the Area
My apartment is located within walking distance to stores, restaurants, parks, bus stop, and the train.
There are tons of restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Also walking distance to Union Square where there are a number of stations (L,N,R,Q,4,5,6) that can take you to all parts of the city. It is walking distance to the East Village, West Village, Meat Packing District, Chelsea, Soho, to name a few. It is also a 15 minute subway ride to Williamsburg Brooklyn.

Delia was a wonderful host. She is a very friendly and helpful person. She made me feel very comfortable in her apartment, provided a light breakfast of delicious fruits and coffee, bath towels, soap and bath sponge. Her apartment is very clean and tidy. The apartment is in a nice location near the East River and also a few blocks from the 14th Street subway station. It was easy enough to walk around or take the subway.
I would definitely recommend a stay with her, and look forward to seeing her again soon :)
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
